Oreo, Astronaut Cat Mother of Pearl Pendant Necklace

Oreo, the First Astronaut Cat, art by Claudia Sanchez, is featured on this exquisite Mother of Pearl shell pendant necklace. Dye is infused into the shell surface, creating a rich, iridescent effect. Each shell piece is slightly different, making each pendant an individual wearable piece of art. Pendant measures 1.5 x 2 and comes with a black rubber cord (3mm), 18 long with a sterling silver lobster clasp. You may upgrade to a Sterling Silver Wheat Chain (2.5mm), 18 long with sterling silver lobster clasp for an additional fee.

Please Note: No two pieces of Mother of Pearl are shaped identically. Some pieces may have one or more slightly rounded corners and may not be perfectly symmetrical. You may also see and feel variations on the shell, on either side. This is normal. Be assured that each shell is hand-picked, and we will not use any shell that we believe is defective in any way.

About the Art: Oreo is an adorable black and white tuxedo cat. He became the first Cat Astronaut recently. Since Kauhi had dreamed of being a Cat Astronaut all of his life, this event brings up his inner turmoil, all over again. Here, Oreo poses on an asteroid. We sure hope that he has a very secure foothold!
