Julie’s Little Kitten Named Marie - 1996
Notice the yellow daffodils? In this piece, Claudia posed a cute little white kitten (well, she was white in real life), amongst some daffodils. This painting was done for a show at the local chapter office of the Cancer Society, during “Breast Cancer Awareness Week” one year in October, and Daffodils were the theme of the show. The painting received its name, when Claudia’s daughter, Julie, thought the kitten looked just like a little white stuffed kitten that she had in her room!
